Good to Go

Some friends and I are going to meet for our very own Stitch and Bitch session (which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like). We're all beginning knitters.

There was also talk of the super hula hoop on the Wii. With any luck, there will be no photographic evidence.

Oh, and welcome VGNOers.

Mt. St. Helens area

Ape Caves

This is the mouth of the Ape Caves. The caves were formed by lava flows and make two tubes that you can hike up/down and check out. It was neato. This is what it looked like inside.

Seaside Aquarium

We went to the Seaside Aquarium and got to feed the seals. They were pretty funny. Some of them would slap their sides or splash with their tails to try and get your attention (and fish).

Vacation

After graduation I flew down to the Portland area to visit my friend Erin and be a tourist. Here's some pics from the trip.

These are from Seaside. I've always loved the ocean even though I don't swim well. My earliest memory is of water, which might explain my fascination.

Confession

Sometimes I go to the Spokanimal website and look at all the animals they have in and pick out which ones I would adopt if I could.

Sigh.

Victory!

EWU class of 2009 had about 2000 graduates. Phew, it was a LOT of people...

...this is just a fraction of everyone that was there...

More on all that later. For now, on with the celebration!

Weirdest Commercial EVER

I saw this on t.v. one day and sat there slack-jawed the entire time. Then when it was over (and the shock wore off a little) I couldn't stop laughing. Don't ask me why.

Graduation is tomorrow, HURRAY!

Welcome

I missed blogging because I'm a nerd because it's fun and maybe even a little cathartic. So, here it is. My spiffy, brand new blog.

Welcome.

p.s. Graduation in approximately 1.5 days, WOOT!
